Sleepwalker
Sun - Sleepwalker
Sleepwalker Sun is an impressive Rio de Janeiro-based combo
in the prog rock vein. The amazing female vocalist, whose voice
ranges from powerful to delicate
with great ability, brings softness and energy to the songs. The keyboards
are symphonic and bombastic, mixing pianos and analog synths.
The guitars provide
a melodic and intense sound, with fragile arpeggios and hard riffs, alternating
some great solos and acoustic moments. Bass and drums provide a rhythmic and
technical background, sometimes aggressive, sometimes melodic, again. Special
guests are Marcus Viana, André Mello and Alex Martinho. |

Sinais - Luciano Ladeira
SINAIS is an experiment combining rustic
materials and route elements seeking creative subtle levels.
Luciano Ladeira, Brazilian, percussionist and fine artist,
plays all the instruments. He tries obsessively to extracts
sounds out of every ordinary object (pipes, car breaks, medicine
bottles, PVC tubes, and so on....). His music literally travels
to other spheres and goes beyond the “gray” great city atmosphere;
the organic visceral texture translates an ecological and spiritual
growing process though the sacred soil of Minas Gerais. He
uses Peruvian and jazz rhythms, Hindu and Tibetan philosophy
as well as tribe rites from past and future eras.
